I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!

What I liked

Procedural generation is always cool. It worked pretty well here, generally producing layouts that would have been beatable if not for the horrible control of the bee.

The lives system was a good idea to change the gameplay up a bit.

Persistent highscores are always good for a game like this.

What I didn't like

A Flappy Bird clone, on its own, without something really out there and different to make it stand out feels really dated in 2020. This one has a few tweaks from the formula, but not enough to really set it apart in my mind.

Did I think it was so bad it was good?

I think so, but leaning more towards just being bad. I sort of see what you were going for but in the end it's just a particularly difficult to control, slightly ugly Flappy Bird clone.

My thoughts on the modifier implementation

Impossibly difficult and unwinnable. While it fits the modifier and the general intent of the game, it feels uninspired to me compared to some of the more creative interpretations that others have come up with.

Verdict

A good effort but based on a joke/meme that to me really feels worn out by now.

If you have any questions, comments, queries or concerns, please reply and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback it helps to better my future games !
