I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!
What I liked
The primitive art is terrible, but perfect for this jam and perfect for this game.
I really like the way the modifier was twisted and played with. It got a good laugh out of me when I figured it out.
What I didn't like
While the joke is quite humorous at first, it overstays its welcome and the game quickly becomes a chore.
Did I think it was so bad it was good?
Definitely. It's not perfect but it definitely falls into that category.
My thoughts on the modifier implementation
As I've said before, I really liked the way it was twisted here especially since it seems straightforward at first.
Other remarks
I think if the game was more forgiving, if I didn't have to redo the entire level every time I died, it would work a little better.
Verdict
A neat take on the modifier, I just wish it was a little less frustrating to play.
