Heya, I'm glad that you can relate with Braden's character. I caught some shit on other sites because many of the gay players were automatically assuming that Braden was in denial--which is the point of his character in the first place--that sexuality doesn't always fit all the labels, regardless of how many we keep making. I wanted to give people that felt that way a voice through his character
Definitely one of the reasons that Braden's character is like that. I've tried to put quite a few minority characteristics within these characters because the media tends to really create a stereotype of sexuality that isn't congruent with how many people are. I wanted to normalize people that don't fit the stereotype and validate that that's ok.
