Yeah let's serve dishes and drinks in a library. I'm sure the customers are all civilized and won't deteriorate the precious books.
That aside I really liked the hectic pace each day has in store. I'm actually quite weak when it comes to multitasking and memorizing a number of things in order to make them later, but with the orders being shown on the corner of the screen I could pull through. I thanked something at random when I noticed there was the orders shown in this corner, I didn't notice it at first, being focused on moving the characters and making dishes - I really thought I had to look all the time at the small translucent sprites on the plates at first - and also remember what ingredients need what to be done on them.
Small nitpick here: the action keys are a bit uncomfortable to me. I didn't want to use WASD so that I have E and F under the left hand (and Tab too), and arrow keys under the right hand. Which meant my left hand was awkwardly posing at an angle with index finger on F, middle finger on E, and pinky on Tab. I could play like this but these keys being closer AND on the same row, AND away from WASD (for the WASD players) would have greatly helped.
Nevertheless a solid and exciting game. I'm sure it's even easier and thus more fun with 2 players. I couldn't do that but that's OK, I had fun!
(Whoa, look at that! Reimu is dating herself!
...
That actually sounds kind of sad.)
