Hello, it doesnt show any errors. just no visible reaction directx has been downloaded and i tried to install it. after 2 unsuccessfull attempts it has been installed. but sand.exe wont run anyway. i disabled my kaspersky internet security but sand.exe wont run. now i dont know what to do... my system is a win 7 64 bit with intel core i7-4790k CPU at 4GHz and with 16GB RAM. GPU is a GeForce GTX970 Do I have to install "RUST"?

Make sure you're running sand.bat; if you're running sand.exe directly, it won't work. If that's not the issue, I'm not sure what the problem is. You could try running sand.bat from the command line to see if it prints out any error messages.

sorry, that i didnt answer earlier. but the problem still persists. would it be possible to get some sort of debugging version? I have a visual studio 2013 installed and i am a programmer myself, so if you like, you could provide me with a special version that i can try.

It's open source, so you can try compiling from source: https://github.com/nstoddard/rust-sand. Instructions are included in the README on github. Compiling it from source might give better error messages.
