This is heaps cool. I've never seen a real-time chess game before. Knowing chess makes you feel quite powerful because you can make lots of moves in very quick succession. It's almost like an RTS . But surely enough, I also lost my queen so quickly.
To take the game further, since you are bending the rules of traditional chess, you can't stop with only 'real-time'.
- You could add obstacles
- Randomly 'blocked' pieces that you either can't move or can't capture.
- The ability to place captured pieces back to the board after a certain time.
- Multiplayer.
