I think making a metroidvania in a game jam is always an ambitious project! I really did feel like I wanted to explore everywhere and see the whole game, but I got a bit stuck on the parts where you had to jump down not seeing what's beneath you. The sideways movement had a little too much inertia in my opinion. It also would have been nice to have something in the background, even if it was just a repeating texture, to see that I'm moving when there are no platforms for reference.
