Well i have to say, this is best game i have played so far. ( in Gmtk jam games). Idea is cool. Game fits the theme, gameplay is cool, jumps doesn't feel floaty, Smooth movement, and what else can i say for a platformer. Very well done.
I also want to ask, which game engine did you used. ( Asking because i also want to try it ;))
I actually used Game Maker Studio 2.3!
