Really cool game and good fit for the theme! I would suggest adding obstacles to decrease score as well. Well done!!
Oh.... you're right!!!! Instead of adding another element of energy/life it could be as simple as decreasing the score!!! Great idea!!! I'm all for simplicity when it comes to game-mechanics!!!
