This seems like a good starting point for a game. The art is clear and the basic mechanics are there. I couldn't work out how to actually pay for the groceries once I'd found them all, so perhaps some more instruction there would be useful. I also didn't find the child particularly "out of control"; in my game they disabled one set of shelves and then just stood there. Perhaps instead of disabling the shelves, they could pull items off the shelves, which you have to rush around putting back? A nice take on the theme.
