That background scares me XD

Very fun little dungeon crawler! Look into textMeshPro if you want less blurry text. And there was no reason to actually kill anything because you probably take more damage fighting than just running through. I suggest making the light extremely dim at first so you need to kill enemies to see where to go

Yeah font was definitely an issue for me because the godot default font doesn't work well with pixel art, and as a solo dev I definitely  didnt have the time to make my own. What were the rules on fonts though, would it have been possible for me to use a pre-made font?

I believe fonts are usually good to be premade because nobody expects you to make your own font
