It’s been awhile since I’ve played a game as scary as Dark Fracture. There is a subtlety as you’re introduced to the main character and story; things feel “off”, but you can’t put your finger on it.
But as that tension builds, events occur, not only more frequently, but are much more intense and in-your-face. Visually stunning, my favorite parts of the experience required me to rely on very little light and, worse yet, actually become tentative to use my light sources at all, simply because I wasn’t so sure if I actually wanted to see what was in front of me.
I can’t wait to see how the finished product turns out!
