If you have anyone to help you playtest, use them to your advantage. It's definitely a huge help, because they may catch something or point out a change that could be for the better, although you should still keep your vision in mind.
funny enough i had my friend play test and a few others i did there requests so and my friend did not like the game but it wasn't really his style
