I really liked your attention to detail! Like how the planet sprite is actually terraformed as you progress, and also that the buttons in the instructions menu provide feedback when the player interacts so they can get the feel for them ahead of time :).
At first I found it a little hard to understand the beat that I acted on because the music felt faster than the beat of play (maybe you could have a hard mode where the beat is twice as fast to match the song and also give a serious challenge :o ). Once I figured out the beat though the system felt really smooth. There were a couple times when the gameplay beat was slightly off that of the music, but I was still able to figure out the beat due to the animations. It was surprisingly tight for most of the time :) and I got a high score of 14111 with a highest combo of 108!
Another part that confused me at first was the numbers next to the abilities in the instruction. From the wording I misinterpreted them as meaning the beat (of a standard 4/4 measure). A.k.a. that you had to use the abilities on a specific beat... I quickly realized that was incorrect haha, but it still might benefit from more explanation on the instruction screen.
Lastly, it'd be nice to have some music in the menus since it felt a little strange for a rhythm game to be abruptly silent between play.
Overall thought the game was a lot of fun, and would love to play different levels with new enemies and sound tracks if you make more :D
