I like the idea that you play furniture, this has potential. It could be enhanced to let you choose a character, for visuals or even for advantages, chair might be slim an dodge more easily.
It feels a bit mean, that you can only fight things above you, maybe the sword should go in the direction you walk. Also give it weight: If you hit an enemy you want the enemy to be pushed back a bit, currently they just walk through it. Give the player the feeling that their actions have an impact.
Overall a fun game, but needs some polish.
