You absolutely perfectly nailed the lighting/vision distance. It was enough vision that it felt like if the ghosts hit me, it was my fault - but also little enough to keep me on edge and unsure of my surroundings. You threaded that needle beautifully.
Also, major kudos to you, you managed to make me get spooked by that goofy looking ghost sprite - I didn't think it was possible - but you made the art work the way you wanted, despite the limitations.

The movement was a little bit... jerky? It wasn't as smooth as I would have liked, but that's only a minor problem.
Also, I would have /loved/ some spooky background music to really immerse me even further in the scary setting.

But overall, I really enjoyed the game - played it all the way to that sweet, sweet "You win" campfire screen, haha! Great work!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was having difficulty with the difficulty (lol) so it's good to hear that you think I nailed it. It's really only hard if you try to rush through, though it can be nerv racking if you are on the third floor and have died a lot already. I personally like the suspense.
