I find the player taking on the role of a pacifist troll so charming! This game feels very solid, it has a well executed core loop and is tricky without being aggrovating. I did find that I struggled somewhat with the black/grey spaces - it took me a while to understand that the cards were moving accross open ground while the players domain was below them. I think this is just because the black receeds whereas the grey jumps forward (lighter colours tend to sit on top according to the eye) - but once I realised what was going on it wasn't much of a deal. I liked how many little finishing touches are in, like the narrator/expositor and the cards 'combat system. Overall it was a fun game which held my attention and saw me through to it's end. Nice job!
