Visually I like the aesthetic of the game. The electric orbs have a cool effect around them and the concept of racing around as electricity is interesting.

It'd be helpful to be able to use the keyboard as well as controllers. Maybe you could have a check to see if only one controller is connected and if so allow use of the keyboard (but that's easier said than done D:). -- for jams it's also helpful to be able to play as a single person so maybe a way to disable the second player entirely instead of making a new mode.

As you mentioned in the discord, the movement is a little difficult because the directions are not dependent on where the player comes from, but it seems to be inconsistent outside that as well. The forward motion can be a leftward, rightward, or forward direction depending on where you are on the board, and it was strange that the front tile has forward take you backwards. Even if you don't make the directions change with the facing of the player, being more consistent for when left, right, up, and down make sense would be helpful.

Lastly I like the mashing required for the towers you need to capture, but it'd be nice if there was more feedback while doing so (like screen shake, sound effects, or maybe an electrical effect surrounding the tower). An additional piece would be to have capturing a tower give a little delay (maybe during an explosion) before the player can move again so you don't immediately start moving backwards as soon as its done. Also if a tower belongs to a specific character it might be good to color it as such so that players know which towers to target (which means the character colors would need to be unique as well).
