Please consider Chromebook support as well. Chrome OS supports games like Stardew Valley, and the touchscreen functionality with Chrome + Keyboard would be ideal to get local friends playing together.
It works on my Chromebook, but I agree that ChromeOS keyboard support should be a thing.
