Thanks! I definitely got some inspiration from Celeste, but spun it in my own way. Which levels were nearly impossible? There is no time limit when you have to dodge your ghosts, and you can get to the end of every level with over two seconds to spare. Also what about the wall-jumping was buggy? I'm sorry for the questions, I appreciate your comment, but I just want to try to fix things after the jam.
Hi, no problem. I think it was levels two and four. I found them extremely difficult to get to the end and had less that half a second to spare each time. I think I was doing it as fast as possible. With regards to the wall jumping, I think the power of the jump was different each time and also whether you were meant to wall jump to or from the wall.
Huh, me and my brother (who playtested) can reach the end of levels 2 and 4 with about 3-4 seconds to spare, I'm not sure what the problem is. As for wall-jumping, I made it so that just like the normal jump, if you tap the button you do a small jump, and if you hold the button you do a large jump, and yeah, and yes, you can actually jump straight up a wall while wall-jumping. Sorry if I sounded defensive, I just think this idea has some potential and would love to fix and expand it. Also, its awesome to see another Celeste fan, that is probably my favorite Indie game! (Btw your game was great too)
