As far as I’m aware, publishing a devlog marked as “Major Update” will bump your game up to the new games category. It might take a while, as it goes to a similar queue like the first time you’ve uploaded it.
I would suggest waiting a couple of business days (if you haven’t already) and see if it appears there.
