I think I have a bug but perhaps I am missing something and you can point me in the right direction. When I am fighting the big turtle in the bomb trial I stun him once, sword him, then any additional stuns don't seem to work. So this is after he tucks himself in and starts bouncing all over. When I hit him with another stun bomb I can see his head and appendages pop in and out very quickly (in a glitchy way) but it does not pause him for me to hit.

Yes, this is a bug, thanks for letting me know. I will be doing a bug-fixing patch soon, to get that issue and some others I have noted down.
There is a second way to defeat the miniboss though, which will work in the meantime. If you do a regular bomb explosion when the turtle is directly on top of the bomb, that will work as well. (The idea is you hit the weak underside). That should let you finish the trial.
