This game is great! I really really enjoyed it! Gave 5 stars!
The gameplay is fun and addicting. It just "feels" right. Easy to learn and hard to master. Hard but fair. Also a concept like this is completely new to me, I never played anything like this before. Also every enemy felt different and like something new. I really enjoyed exploring that place.
The pixel art is gorgeous, the opening is nice, the soundtrack is great.

Thank you VERY much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I tried really hard to get the movement right and even had to completely rework it a couple of times, so I'm glad the work paid off. It's still rough around the edges and I would've liked to add a lot more content, but I'm satisfied with the final product. Thanks for playing!
No, that's definitely a bug. After dying, it loads the latest save if it exists and starts the game anew if it doesn't. Read/write permissions could be the problem. What OS?
Edit: yup, it's the release build. Segfault, so something memory related. Will check it out and fix it if possible.
