Awesome game! Enjoyed every second of it. I love pool irl and haven't played since the lockdowns so this really brought my spirits up.

I love how you took such a simple concept and added such fun mechanics around it. Giving each planet a unique effect was such an awesome idea! Really made me think of where I wanted the cue ball to end up just like real pool even tho the black hole moved every shot. Very well thought out and polished overall. Also really appreciated the tutorial. Great work on the visuals and audio as well.

I would love to see this game fleshed out more. Maybe add levels where only certain kinds of planets appear. Maybe levels where there's more of an "obstacle course" feel and potentials for trick shots/skill shots. I also thought of ideas for how you can use real astronomy to inspire level design. Here's a couple that popped into my head while I was playing:

  • White holes: pushes planets away
  • Supernova: stars that explode when touched
  • Neutron star: very high gravity, pulls passing by objects to itself
  • Wormhole: teleportation shortcuts/traps
  • Gravity waves: slows down objects moving through it

I've got even more ideas but I'll leave it at there haha, I think you get the idea. Would love to see more levels in the future, hope you keep working on it!

Thank you very much, ColorPalette!

Initially my intention was to add 2 modalities, but I was unable due the time. What you suggested really inspired me!
I sincerly don't know if I'm going to expand that, because generally when I finish a project, I immediately switch to new one.
That's because I like more to prototype games instead of stay glued in a single one.

But maybe at the end of the jam, I can consider to add more content. Thanks again!
