This is very cool (in fact, I started out the jam trying to make a game much like this.) Here's some bullets:

  • The instrument readouts on panels instead of a HUD is awesome. It helps to sell immersion quite a bit.
  • The chunkiness of the graphics is also great and is complimented by the CRT shader. Don't change a thing.
  • Controlling the ship is maybe both too complicated and too easy. Too complicated because there's a button for every degree of freedom, and also too easy because there's a button for every degree of freedom. You can just point the ship at the moon and go.
  • It's very difficult to tell how slow you have to be going in order to land. Maybe another instrument would help.
  • If you get into a spin -- say by bouncing off the moon -- it's basically impossible to correct the ship.

I love the concept and I think it could be something very cool if it was developed a little more.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated:) Was afraid of the two last points, think it was just one of those things I got pretty good at during development so I have no idea how difficult others find it. Gonna have to try some more.
