Fun game with good comedic elements, I had a good time :) I noticed some of the other comments said the graphics weren't good, I actually didn't mind at all. I like the art and I think it fits the tone of the game pretty well. :)

The levels got too hard for me after a while and I didn't get to make it all the way to the end. One of the problems I had was not being able to see the moon side from the Earth or vice versa. I'm terrible with memory when it comes to platformers so maybe something to help with that would have been nice.

The sound effects and music were a good fit for the game too. Just those two things alone conveyed the comedic side of the game really well. Good work!

Thanks for playing and especially for the kind words!  I was actually worried, at first, about making the game too quick, even though it's a game jam game, but I forgot to consider that we're all trying to review a lot of games too so hasn't been a problem LOL.

They do get a little tricky, and memory is definitely a factor (purposely), however,  when you jump between the moon & earth, there's a green arrow that indicates the spot where you entered from (at the "top" of the screen).

We figured this to help orient, particularly if scrolling were later introduced, but I actually noticed around the end that I forgot about it as I was play testing.  Not sure if that was because I knew the levels or because it was too subtle, but it did occur to me, after the fact, that maybe that would be better to make more noticeable.

Glad you enjoyed it, particularly the comedic aspect of using that music!

Thank you so much for the feedback and positive comments!

I actually toyed with the idea of having a silhouette of the Moon/Earth depicted somewhere to give you a basic idea of where you were. That was too hard to complete in the time allotted so we opted to go with an arrow showing you where you came from. I agree the memorization can be tricky and I'll keep that in mind as we further expand on the idea. Thank you again!

EDIT: I'm glad you liked the art! It wasn't surprising at all to us that that's where we're receiving the most criticism, though. It's definitely an area we were both lacking in but we tried our best and didn't resort to outsourcing, so we're proud of what we came up with and we're not upset that it comes off amateurish (because it is!). We hope to slowly get better at it as we get more experience.
