how to use it?

1. You have to buy it. ($15 USD, cheaper for students)

2. Install and Run it.

3. Code games in the Lua scripting language in the built-in editor, or text editor of choice.

4. Use the built-in tools to make sprites, maps, sound, and music.

5. That’s all there is to it!

Oh and I am in no way affiliated with Pico-8 -- it's just a really fun "fantasy console" to make little games in.

This isn't a "pay to enter" thing. It's more "let's all have fun in Pico-8 which we love" (for those who do). Just another game engine to play with.
