Yeah, audio makes a big difference, and it can be tricky to find the right stuff for your game if you're not already into music and/or SFX creation. Some of my games only have one or the other, or neither. Look around anyway, often you can find something that fits well enough. Sometimes more than well enough. If you can't find what you're looking for on Itch, try Open Game Art. It's a great resource, and also a great community. Good luck, and don't despair!
