Well not really, you need to ask the original person who made the mod. 

For example: you made some fan art of a game and people tend to like it, then someone steals it and gives credit but it is hard to see (like the 'Inspiration: Anastas') then people gave the stolen one more attention and someone points out the stolen one is "stolen" but people said they gave credit or the stealer made it or saying it is "inspiration".

I am just saying.
