Spikes are WAY too frustrating! I really wanted to finish this game but just couldn't. Maybe the spikes cold drain your insanity or if you want one hit kill spikes maybe have checkpoints somewhere. A lot of the other game mechanics really emphasise speedrunning like the insanity draining ghosts that don't hurt you on contact make you want to rush to the ghost and kill him before too much insanity gets drained. The spikes force you to be careful because if you are not your dead. Basically, great game but please fix the spikes.

Thank you so much for playing. I am glad you have enjoyed my game. And also about the spikes they will be one hit one kill because i want them to be frustrating. I wanted to add checkpoints but i have ran out of time to do so. Also i have not decided yet how i want them to work. Mainly because I dont know how to do current level state saving
But I do have an idea that checkpoints when restaring on them will also spawn a wall that blocks you the option to go back.

also I am just curious. On what level did you get stuck on. Was it level 5 caverns? Because if so then my friend who i test the game with also got stuck there. He said he will try again tommorow.
