looks like you found a bug... and not the good kind. The boss should have triggered but i wonder if its because you built your platform so large that its not working. i will have to test this theory. Thank you for the feedback.

I started a new game. At first I didn't kill the bugs, grew the net 3-4 times. Then kept to the edge of the platform started eating bugs, increased the platform from time to time. The last ones in the process were black flies. Then several more times increased the platform, it became so big that you can see where the red background ends.
