Liked the visuals and the audio of the game, at first I thought the mouse was the target then realized that there was a real target for the ship.
A little bit repetitive.

The game becomes repetitive as you say. I was planning on one more enemy type and potentially some asteroids you'd have to navigate around to make it more interesting.
