I like the idea, not really my cup of tea. I only managed to get one of the 4 paintings done (from the 2nd level).
It might have to do with the paintings backstory itself as I have no idea (anymore) what the hints might be in order to solve them.
That's fine we didn't think it would be for everyone. I will add a hint system. The fact that you can see that it's not your cup of tea makes me think the concept/idea came across, which is nice for a weekend's work!
