I loved your art style and the kind of aspect ratio you chose. It just felt like a story being told to me. Some music and sound would have made it even better. If you feel like adding some flair, please check 2D Bloom from Brackeys. It's a great addition. This was a really great game for your first game jam. I am still struggling to add dialogue to my game. Thanks so much! The art was what I was most worried about (generally terrible at it) but the magic of post-processing came through!
I actually did have some bloom, but it was a little too subtle I guess.
I followed BTP's dialogue tutorial then tweaked it a little to get the system I have here.
Unfortunately, the music in the game seems not to be working... I think it may be to do with the web version (it worked in the initial downloadable version I had, which I took down without testing the web version like a moron)
Your game was awesome. I left a comment on your page, but suffice to say, one of my favorites from this jam.
