Interesting game setup, and a cool game loop.  The arts pretty well done but the music... I'm not sure if it was a bug or something else but it got weird.  It sounded pretty good until there was a "screeching" in my left earcup on my headset vs the actual music on the right.  As for some specific feedback though (and bugs below):

  • The fact that you pick up whole tanks that contribute to a cap of "held tanks" is a bit weird... and makes it a little hard to tell exactly how much oxygen you have left which lead to a lot of me not realizing I was about to lose.  I feel like just making it a full bar, even if that bar in reality is equating to say, 6 "tanks" would make it easier to see and clearer to understand exactly how much oxygen is left or specifically how much time you have left.
  • The gravity seems incredibly high which leads to a lot of punishment for any missed jumps.  Essentially just rocketing down the tower to the bottom on basically every missed jump.  I feel like lowering the gravity would make it a lot more forgiving and allow you to make up for mistakes a lot easier.

Overall minus one specific bug I'll mention (I'm assuming it's a bug) where you're unable to jump through the side of platforms, but you're able to jump through the bottom which made it difficult to get up the tower due to having to make sure to hit the button and not the side of platforms, it was an interesting game with mostly tight controls and a nice loop.

Thanks for the comments, unfortunately, because of the college, I didn't have much time to polish the game, but I intend to continue the project, I liked your idea related to tanks, I will probably use it and as for your music problem, my headphones they are working normal. Thanks again for the criticism and tips 😊😊.
