Cool graphics, lots of potential gameplay, don't know how to interpret it with the theme though.
Also a bit unforgiving with the jumps as the gravity is too strong, makes it too painful when making mistakes. Also I can't tell if you implemented coyote time, but it would be a nice feature to have.
In the end, I couldn't make it far, probably made it past three checkpoints only. But do keep it up! 👍
