How can I dislike a game which shows me Nokia monochrome pixel art images of London landmarks as level rewards? The left-leg/right-leg running mechanic makes me think of 1980s 8-bit athletics games -- Daley Thompson's Decathlon, that sort of thing. It feels strange that a jump is straight up, rather than up and to the left; that is, it's a high jump rather than a long jump. This means that jumping "successfully" still impedes my progress, which makes it feel like I'm not succeeding even when I am. But the concept here is fun, and I like that it's given a place and a British vibe rather than giving someone a high score or generic "coins" or something as success rewards. I think with some more polish -- screens feel empty because there's nothing in them but the runner, the bus, and the random dogs/bins/etc to jump, and the runner is a pretty basic sprite -- with some more polish to be a bit more visually appealling, I can totally imagine playing this in different city "levels" so as to be rewarded with pixel art versions of more London buildings and then Sydney Opera House or the Parthenon or Djenne.
