Technically the Dopple-ganger is a form of mimic so they're already added them in. However, if you're thinkin of the more traditional Chest mimic, I think yo're being FAR too vanilla.
Lets go wild and see about having mimic armour or whole houses!

It would be cool to add an Shapeshifter that you could talk to and transform in any enemies that you had already encountered to battle again, instead of going all the map to chase them. We already have the CGI Index (Aka pervert), would be cool some type of battle retry that you could found in the map like the arena.
