This is hilarious! Well-written and sharp. No technical issues, either.

Some of the proposals are a little ambiguous in terms of their logic... why does X or Y increase or decrease your power? I think something that would enhance the experience would be simply a little outcome message for each bill (e.g., "The oil reserves earn billions of dollars for your party!" or "The gods are displeased with your sacrifice!" or "Spending time with your family is a distraction from oppressing the common man!").

Another potential way to intensify the gameplay would be to make 2 different versions of each proposal (one good, one bad), so the player has to read a little more carefully.

Because the game is replayable, I would add the ability to skip the intro cutscene.

Yes, we realized early when writing the texts (late in the jam ;P) that writing texts with clear cut answers wasn't as easy as we had hoped.

An outcome message would have been great. We missed the 'why' on each bill and only made the player aware that something was good or bad with sound and points.

Thank you for both taking your time to play our game and giving us such great feedback!
