Couple of questions...if both fighters execute a move at the same time, what dictates who hits first? Also, sometimes in that situation, the move that executes first cancels the opponents move, and sometimes it doesn't. What dictates this?


Awesome game btw. I hope you expand it to something larger, it's the best MMA game imo.

When the two moves need to execute simultaneously the fighter with better Speed attribute has twice bigger chance to succeed than his opponent.

The moves that cancel other moves are either those with Stun effect or in case of the other move being such that requires an active move from the opponent (block for example).

I think the speed stat has a lot to do with it and a defensive move will always win, regardless of the stat, like using sidestep from the boxing tree a jab from any opponent, regardless of speed as long as it is activated before or at the same time as said jab.
