I agree! I found this forever ago and was interested in the more.... Lustful parts, but after playing and staying around for a time the updates had more story and made me feel actual feelings for the characters, such as when I did the corrupted lizardtribe route my heart sank hearing Rhot say he trusted us, and Roushk do.... What he does to othra. Then with bottom logan I don't feel bad but I lose the love I feel for him because it's pretty much just friends with benefits when you do that one. Which is kinda what you meant because it's just the two paths you can take about you can just have friends with benefits or something more/ a couple more complex things I have yet to completely understand or even encounter.... I don't think I fully understand at the same time since again I've got no experience in the real world with mentalities other than my own since I don't explore outside and stick to gaming and tv. 

Also you said you don't understand the witch's mechanics, it's somewhat simple. I only say that because I also had trouble at first with her and I just wanna say that for confidence points. 

here's the way it works, she does things according to the time of day. At night her conversations change and her quests if she has one. She only has a couple so it's not really elaborated on much.
