I get what you where trying to do. But the theme is really missing for me. It would be more stressful if there where audio cue's to egg the player on the pull the lever. News articles with what the victim has done, to convince the player into a rational that it is "ok" to pull the lever (while it morally might not be). It is just to little to keep the attention and suspense going for me. Like the fact that you used the Blender game engine though, one does not see that to often anymore.
