An interesting concept and cool mechanic in line with the theme. The main moveset and your attack were interesting. The best part was definitely the dash, though, a bit too powerful in my opinion. Some finer points:
- Dashing felt satisfying. Especially just speeding around the screen. Though in terms of balancing it did trivialize trying to dodge the bosses, except for it not being too exact, which did kinda balance it out as well. I feel like either a slight cooldown or a slightly longer and visible cooldown could help? Or maybe some downside to spamming it? Something like you lose health or something because you are leaving slime behind.
- Shooting didn't have too much impact behind it, or feedback. So it was generally kinda hard to see if I was damaging stuff. The bosses not so much cause of their giant health bars, but specifically Slame's "minions" were difficult to see if I was damaging them. So some sort of visual feedback, knockback etc. would be helpful.
- A faster restart when you beat a boss and go onto the second one would be nice. Since you do start super far away. Though that's kinda nitpicking.
Overall, an interesting idea, I definitely would prefer more levels or just more bosses. But that's a content issue and it is a jam so it's good.
