O hey, you did a metroidvania for this jam too :D Pretty sweet!

You've nailed the atmosphere for this game. The graphics are super pretty and the audio is pretty haunting, which ties in well with the whole light theme. I can see that a lot of love and effort went into the aesthetic of this game, and I enjoyed exploring the nooks and cranny of the map.

I think the gameplay itself could be a lot more smoother, especially the combat system. There's a delay on the sword attack, which makes killing  enemies awkward, and there isn't much visual cues or feedback for when the enemies attack. Dying should also not restart the whole game - it should put you at a checkpoint somewhere. I also wasn't sure of the point of launching Lumi other than grabbing an orb or breaking a wall, so I feel like more could have been done with that mechanic. Finally, this game needs an ending - it feels pretty unsatisfying going through the whole map and reaching that big room only for nothing to happen afterwards.

Overall, great game and beautiful world , making a metroidvania in a week is no easy feat. You guys should be proud.

Thanks for your answer and yes, we wanted to create a metroidvania too ahah!
Your feedback on the gameplay is consistent and we will work on improving it!
For the end of the game, we started to work on a boss but due to lack of time, we decided to put several different enemies for the moment.

Thanks a lot, I'm going to test your game too which looks very nice.
