short simple little game! Nice job! And props on doing all the assets on your own! The art style is goofy, but in a good way!
It's pretty buggy, but I was able to actually finish the game with no problem, so that's always good! I think your next step with this (after debugging) would be to add some cool walking animations!

Sure! One of the first things that happened was I exited the scene without dying first (was able to avoid the turtles), yet my friend was still there in the second scene. Another time, I did the same thing, but I went right to the boss scene and he was just jumping in place and my character was no where to be found. I was mainly able to do this because I could jump on top of the turtles and not get hurt (not sure if that was intentional or not). Also, (if you haven't already) add some iframe and definitely some knockback to the player! This will stop the player from just consistently losing health while colliding with the enemies.
