I saw on your stream, thanks for trying to play anyway, appreciate it! That was very odd, I'm not sure why it was a black screen for the download version. And for the browser version, it seems like there is a weird bug that stops you from moving if the game isn't in focus. Try this: 

If your character stops moving while playing in-browser, click the fullscreen button and then click the black space, you should be able to move again.
