This was undoubtedly the best thing I've played yet in this jam for the way it was able to so cohesively bring together a variety of game elements to make for an engaging experience. The core mechanic is really unique and interesting, with the coordination challenges provided by having to simultaneously control both characters adding an additional layer of challenge. The variety of enemy types that made players have to think differently were also really cool, making it that you couldn't just utilise the same strategy on every level, and giving the game a really nice feeling of progression to it. Further adding to this is how satisfying you made the central mechanic with the rising notes depending on how large your combo is, providing additional incentive to go for those big combos beyond just getting a high score. Additional touches like the difficulty settings also gave the game another level of polish and completeness to it. For criticisms, I'll say that the UI was a bit unappealing to look at, particularly with the small text size, and the artwork was a bit simplistic at points, especially with the powerups just not looking complete. Even so, I really, really liked this game.
