The biggest file size I’ve seen this jam (0.5 GB!?)
-
I’ve never seen WASD/WSAD referred to as WDAS before
-
At the beginning I lagged a bit while moving my cursor around but that went away
-
The endless grassy terrain feels quite lifeless
-
The door code message doesn’t disappear even after you open the door. Edit: It disappears after you press “Escape” but it’s not very clear
-
The glass doesn’t really look like glass and look more like translucent plastic. It’s also hard to tell what’s a window and what is just an open door
-
The majority of the models are pretty impressive considering the week long timespan
-
I think the people inside the house could do with an idle animation (like the police near the door did)
-
I think the credits links should be clickable
-
A list of inventory items would be nice
-
A lot of things are interactable which is good but some things are hard to actually interact with (it takes a few attempts to interact with them) and it’s also not clear what’s interactable at first glance
-
When you talk to people I wish it said what their name was
-
I think you should be able to sprint
-
Climbing on top of objects feels a bit jarring
How I deduced the killer:
-
Mr. Strauss was outside the house at the time of the murder (he only returned at 10 pm) so it couldn’t have been him
-
The housekeeper said she was in the kitchen and the knife in there with her fingerprints backs that up
-
The way the housekeeper left just after the murder was a bit suspicious but she leaves at around 7 pm every night
-
Ted and Enola both return together at around 4 pm and both of their rooms are upstairs. If the housekeeper killed her I’m pretty sure Ted would have noticed
-
Ted has the box cutter and that creepy diary entry which is super suspicious. It also aligns with the “clean and deep cut in her throat”. Why would a little kid have a box cutter anyways?
-
It says they were killed between 6 pm and 7 pm and the only option between those times is 6:30 pm
Final thoughts:
-
This was really fun. I don’t usually play games like this but the mystery was really engaging. The person who I suspected constantly changed!
-
I don’t think I found all the clues. Someone else mentioned doctor notes but I don’t remember seeing any of those. I think I found all (3) of the diary entries though and I found all the possible weapons except the hammer. I’d love to see a video going through the entire game and looking at all the clues

I feel like the connection to the theme was a bit loose
