When the teammate falls they fall much slower and their walking animation is still used

I understand the theme interpretation but I feel like the teammate actually impairs you rather than making you “stronger”

The enemy’s jumping movement doesn’t feel smooth

Could do with a lot more polish. For example, visual (particles, more animations) and aural feedback (jumping, death, etc)

I’m not a fan of the art. It feels very ms-painty. It is pretty readable though. I’d recommend using a pre-made palette from a site like Lospec
