The are a few power of the gods, but most of them are automatic (like the kill on collision, extra health and aura) so I'm guessing you're talking about the "Power of Death" that he gives you, which is actually the last (and most ridiculous) one before the ending of the game.
If you press the right mouse button, everything will die and you will skip the wave, this makes it stupidly easy to just get the normal ending of the game by spamming the right mouse button. However if you want the ending with Death, you just gotta "off yourself" once again and completely ignore that power haha.
